Free for life.
Paid when it earns its keep.

Most people on Gish will never pay us a cent — the Free tier is a complete product, not a tease. Plus is for people whose profile is starting to feel like a storefront. Pro is for creators. Business is for HR teams. Enterprise is for diligence teams. You only move up when the next tier is obviously, materially worth the money.

Partner economy

You pay supplier rates. We earn from each partner.

Across all paid tiers, you can book hotels, flights, transport, catering, florals, beauty, activities, restaurants through Gish's partner network. We earn commission from EPS, Booking.com, Uber, ezCater, BloomNation, Glamsquad, Viator, OpenTable, and 20+ more. You pay what the supplier would charge directly.

What every paid tier includes

The whole planning suite, across every surface.

Plus, Pro, and Business all include access to every surface below. Specific limits (microsite count, gallery storage, AI generations, RSVP caps, white-label) vary by tier — see the grid above. The surfaces themselves are not tier-gated.

The honest no-surprises footer

The promises we’ll actually keep.

We have been on the other end of every dark-pattern pricing page on the internet. This is the page we wish more companies wrote.

No hidden feesThe sticker price is the price. We never bury “processing fees” or “platform charges” in the receipt.
No auto-upgradeYou will never wake up to a charge on a higher tier you didn’t choose. We don’t pull that trick.
Monthly or annualAnnual saves you two months. Monthly is the same price every month, no introductory rate that secretly doubles in month four.
Cancel anytimeOne click. We don’t hide it behind a phone call. Your data exports cleanly in a GDPR-grade ZIP.
Questions, asked & answered

The pricing questions we get most.

What does “ad-free profile” mean, exactly?

When you’re on Plus or Pro, your profile (gishme.com/yourname or your.gift custom domain) shows zero ads to every person who lands on it — your aunt, a friend who got the link, a stranger who searched your name, a Google crawler, a Twitter unfurl preview.

It is an owner-keyed setting, meaning the ad-free state is bound to your account, not to the visitor’s account. A logged-out person sees your profile ad-free. A Free user visiting your profile sees it ad-free. Everyone, everywhere, sees your profile clean.

So why does Plus still see ads on explore?

Plus removes ads from your profile to visitors. It does not remove ads from your own browsing experience in the explore feed or discovery surfaces — that’s what Pro adds.

We split it on purpose. The Plus value proposition is “my space online looks like me, not like a billboard.” The Pro value proposition is “I want my whole Gish experience ad-free, plus the creator tooling.” Different jobs, different prices, no bait-and-switch.

What does the 10K-follower auto-unlock actually do?

When your follower count crosses 10,000 verified followers, Pro becomes free for you. Permanently. You keep every Pro feature without paying us a cent. The threshold is checked nightly, the unlock is automatic, and we email you when it lands.

If your follower count later drops below 10K, you keep Pro free. It is a one-way ratchet. We are betting that creators who reach 10K will tell other creators, and that telling is worth more to us than $29/month.

Can I downgrade?

Yes, at any time. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period (so you keep what you paid for). Annual subscribers can downgrade and receive a prorated credit toward future billing — not a refund to card, but real platform credit that’s good forever.

If you downgrade from Pro to Plus, you keep your follower-unlock if you had one — downgrades don’t erase your earned benefits.

Is there a trial?

Free is the trial. It is a full product. You will know within a week whether you want the upgrade.

For Business, we run a 30-day pilot at no cost for prospects with 25+ seats, with real HRIS data on your sandbox tenant. No credit card.

What about taxes?

Personal subscriptions are quoted inclusive of VAT/GST where required (EU, UK, AU, NZ, JP, IN). US sales tax is added at checkout where applicable. Business invoices itemize tax separately, with VAT MOSS handling for EU customers and self-billing arrangements available for enterprise.

What payment methods?

Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, JCB), Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA Direct Debit (EU), iDEAL (NL), Bancontact (BE), giropay (DE), Sofort, BLIK (PL), UPI (IN), Pix (BR). Business: ACH, wire, Net-30 invoice. Enterprise: anything reasonable, including multi-currency wire and PO-based billing.

Will prices go up?

Probably, eventually. When they do, your locked-in rate for your current tier stays the same as long as your subscription is active and uninterrupted. We grandfather. Founding-tier Plus users (anyone who signs up in the launch window) get a permanent 30% lifetime discount tagged to their account.

Pricing philosophy, the long version

Why these specific numbers.

The four tiers are not a focus-grouped pricing exercise. Each number is anchored to something real, and we want you to know what.

Why Free is genuinely free. A wishlist is a network product. Network products with a hard paywall die in the cradle, because nobody invites their grandmother to a service that demands her credit card before she can chip in $20 on her grandson’s birthday. So Free is the real product: every wish kind, every capture method, the full Smart Routing rail, group buying, outcome funds. The two things Free does not have are ad-removal on your profile and the unlimited-themes catalog. Both of those are about how the product looks to other people, which is the natural thing to pay for once the product itself is doing its job. Free is supported by tasteful, k-anonymized advertising on the profile and explore feed. The cost of running a Free user’s account is well under what their ad inventory generates, and we’ll never be tempted to degrade Free to push you upmarket.

Why Plus is $4.99. The price-elasticity research on prosumer consumer SaaS converges on $4–$8/month at the entry tier for prosumer wishlist tools for “I want my profile to look professional” products. We landed at $4.99 because (a) it’s a casual coffee-cost commitment, well under any “real subscription” threshold, (b) the annual price of $39.99 (effectively $3.33/mo) is right at the edge of an impulse purchase for a US professional, and (c) it leaves room for promotional discounts without making the sticker absurd. Plus is meant to be a no-brainer for someone who sends one Gish link a week. If you ever calculate “is this $5 worth it” and it’s a hard call, downgrade. We’ll be here when you change your mind.

Pro tier retired. What used to be Pro is now split: power features moved into Plus ($4.99), and creator-revenue features (higher commission %, Patron, brand-collab tools) live in the Programs $29/mo Creator tier with a 14-day trial.

Why Business is $99 + $5/seat. The base covers the dashboard, the HRIS connector cost, the SSO infra, the branded gift card primitives. The seat fee covers the marginal cost of seat-level personalization, calendar sync, gift-recipient screen real estate, support, and infrastructure scaling. We benchmarked against four competitors. Two charge a percentage of gift spend (which is the obvious dark pattern: more gifts = more revenue for them, even though the marginal cost is flat). Two charge per-seat fees of $9–$15. We sit lower because we don’t need to recover the cost of human-curated catalogs — the wishlist backflow handles that for free.

Why Enterprise starts at $50K. Below that number, the customer’s legitimate diligence and integration needs cost us more in implementation engineering than the contract can recover. We’d rather not take the deal than half-serve it. Above $50K, the math works. Most actual enterprise deals land between $80K and $250K based on seat count, integration depth, and SLA tier.

Edge-case math

If you’re a specific shape of person, here’s the answer.

I run a household wishlist for a family of five

Free. Genuinely. Set up five profiles, link them as family, and you’re done. The only thing that would push you to Plus is wanting the “no ads on the kids’ profiles when grandparents visit” experience, which is an entirely reasonable reason to pay $5.

I’m a wedding planner running 12 active couples at once

Pro. The bulk-import, white-label, and per-couple analytics pay for themselves on the first wedding. The patron-tier monetisation lets you take a transparent platform fee from couples who add gifts above their initial registry.

I’m a 4-person agency sending client gifts

The Business minimum is 5 seats. You can either upgrade to the 5-seat minimum ($99 + $25/mo) or run client gifts on individual Plus accounts and reconcile manually. The 5-seat minimum is genuinely worth it if you send more than three client gifts a quarter; below that, Plus is fine.

I’m a 50-person engineering org with a strict procurement process

Business is exactly right. SSO is included, the HRIS sync handles your directory, Net-30 invoicing satisfies AP, and the 30-day pilot lets you run it past your security team before signing a multi-year contract. Total cost at 50 seats: $349/mo or $3,488/yr on annual billing.

I’m a 3,000-person org with a CISO and a procurement RFP

Enterprise. You will want our SOC 2 roadmap (scoping in progress, attestation post-launch), BAA, custom MSA, SCIM provisioning, audit-log streaming to your SIEM, and a named CSM. Expected annual commit: $90K–$180K depending on integration depth.

I’m a 501(c)(3) running mutual-aid funds

Free, with verified-payee status. Outcome funds are the right primitive, the only fees are Stripe’s underlying card fees, and tax-PDF generation auto-issues 990-compatible receipts to your donors. We do not charge nonprofits a platform fee on inbound contributions.

A note on advertising & the tier structure

Why some Gish users see ads, and why that’s fine.

If you are paying us nothing, the product you’re using runs on something. The two honest options for a free-tier consumer product on the internet are: charge for the upgrade tier, or sell user data. We chose the first.

Free users see contextual ads on their profile and in the explore feed. The ads are sourced from our advertiser inventory, which we build entirely from first-party, k-anonymized signals: occasion type (birthday, wedding, housewarming), relationship category (close family, friend, colleague), budget band, and broad region (state/country level, never city). An advertiser bidding on inventory cannot, ever, target a specific user. They target a cohort of at least 50 anonymous people who share a context, and our system returns aggregate impression and conversion metrics. The advertiser never sees your name, your email, your address, your wishlist items, or your purchase history.

Plus removes ads from your profile to all visitors. Pro removes ads from your own browsing experience in the explore feed and discovery surfaces. Business and Enterprise are entirely internal — the manager dashboard has no advertising surface at all and never will, because the user is your company, not your employees.

If we ever change this model — if we ever even consider selling user identity to advertisers, or letting advertisers target below the k=50 floor, or running native-content ads disguised as user wishes — it will be a six-month, headline-grade public announcement with a one-click data export on the way out. The hard line is in the trust page. Read it.

Refund & cancellation policy

Spelled out. So you don’t have to email us.

Personal subscriptions (Plus, Pro). Cancel from the account settings page in one click. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep what you paid for until that date, then revert to Free. If you cancel within the first 7 days of your first paid month, you can request a full refund-to-card from billing@gishme.com; we’ll honor it without questions. Annual subscribers who cancel mid-term keep access through the end of the annual period; no prorated refunds on annual, but we’ll give you platform credit equal to the unused months that you can apply to a future subscription, gift card, or outcome-fund contribution.

Business plan. Cancel by writing to support@gishme.com or from the admin console. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing month for monthly billing, or at the end of the annual term for annual billing. Unspent gift-card balances flow back to your AP account inside 30 days. There are no early-termination fees on a Business contract.

Enterprise contracts. Governed by the MSA you signed. Standard terms include a 90-day notice window before annual renewal and pro-rated refund for an SLA failure that exceeds the documented threshold. Every Enterprise MSA includes the right to terminate for cause without penalty if we fail a published security commitment.

Gift cards purchased through Gish for Business. Once a gift card is sent to a recipient and they have viewed the redemption page, the card is irrevocable as a contractual matter (it’s their property at that point, not yours). Cards that have not yet been viewed by a recipient can be cancelled and refunded to your AP balance up to 14 days after issuance. After 14 days unredeemed, the card escheats to the recipient’s jurisdiction per local unclaimed-property law and is not refundable to you.

Money mechanics on the platform

What we charge on the flow of gifts, not just the subscription.

The subscription fee is one half of how Gish is paid for. The other half is the transaction economics on gifts that actually move through the platform, and we believe in disclosing the full picture in the same place — not splitting it across an FAQ and a six-page billing addendum. Here is exactly how the money flows.

Direct retailer purchases. When you tap a wish and buy it directly from the retailer (Amazon, Target, Williams Sonoma, whoever), Gish charges you nothing. The retailer pays us a standard affiliate commission — the same commission they pay every coupon site, browser extension, and product-aggregator on the open web — disclosed per FTC § 255 on every product card. This is invisible to your wallet and adds zero to what you pay for the item.

Outcome fund contributions. When you chip in on someone’s honeymoon fund, top-surgery fund, or any other outcome fund, you pay Stripe’s standard card-processing fee on top of your contribution (about 2.9% + $0.30 in the US, similar elsewhere). Gish takes zero platform fee on outcome-fund contributions, ever. The fees you see at checkout are exactly the underlying card-processor fees, passed through at cost. Verified 501(c)(3) charity flows have the option to absorb the card fees into the donation instead of passing them to the giver.

Group buys. Same model as outcome funds: only card-processing fees, no Gish platform fee. The organizer pays nothing, the contributors pay nothing beyond the underlying processor cost, and Gish’s revenue on the flow is zero. We get paid when the resulting gift purchase routes through an affiliate retailer, and that’s a fine arrangement.

Branded gift cards on the Business plan. Face value of the card is what you’re invoiced for the gift. Gish charges your company the $99 + $5/seat subscription, period. We do not mark up the card. We do not skim interchange. Our revenue is the platform fee and the standard issuer interchange the card network already pays us, which is baked into the sticker price the recipient sees and changes nothing about your invoice.

Multi-currency FX. When a payment moves between currencies, we apply the interbank mid-market rate plus a flat 0.4% spread. That spread is disclosed on every line item where it applies, on every receipt, and on every invoice. The spread covers our cost of liquidity and a small operating margin; we do not pad it dynamically based on volume, route, or counterparty.

If you find a fee on a Gish receipt that is not in one of the categories above, that is a bug, write to billing@gishme.com and we will refund it and fix the bug. We mean that literally; we have honored that promise four times since launch.

Pick a tier. Or don’t.

The Free tier is honestly the right answer for most people. If you outgrow it, the upgrade is one click and the price you see is the price you pay. No tricks.
