Can I be in more than one program?
No. You're always in exactly one tier — the highest you qualify for. As your audience grows or your engagement changes, Gish auto-promotes (or, rarely, demotes) you nightly. You'll always get a notification before a tier change.
How does Gish verify follower counts and engagement?
During application you connect your social platforms via OAuth (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, etc.). We pull follower counts and the last 30 posts to compute engagement. We re-check monthly. Bought followers and engagement pods are detected and disqualify the account.
What counts as commission-eligible?
Any gift, group-buy, chip-in, patron subscription, outcome fund contribution, cause donation, or gift-card purchase that closes within 30 days of someone clicking your tracked Gish link. Recurring gifts (patron subscriptions) pay commission on every renewal as long as you're still in good standing.
Why does the Creator tier cost money?
The 25% commission is the highest in the industry — it's effectively a rev-share on a paid plan. The $29/mo covers human review, the custom storefront infrastructure, priority CSM, and the cost of the brand DM channel. Most Creators earn the $29 back in their first week.
What banned categories trigger a brand-safety reject?
Adult content, gambling promotions, hate speech, illicit substances, weapons sales, MLM/pyramid schemes, fake-news amplification, and content targeting minors. Reviewers manually check the most-recent 100 public posts.
How fast do payouts hit my account?
Monthly NET-60 from the end of the sale month. June sales clear by late August. Reason: 30-day refund window + ~30-day affiliate-network reconciliation (Amazon/Skimlinks NET-60, Etsy/Awin NET-45, Impact NET-30). Payouts via Stripe Connect (US/EU/UK/CA/AU) or Wise (everywhere else). Minimum payout is $25; below that, balance rolls over.
What's the strike system?
Strikes are issued for: missing FTC/ASA disclosure, posting fraudulent links, bought engagement, or violating Gish content policy. 1 strike = warning. 2 strikes = payout hold + 30-day probation. 3 strikes = permanent suspension across all tiers and forfeit of pending balance.
Can I downgrade voluntarily?
Yes. From your dashboard you can request to drop to a lower tier (e.g. you're an Influencer but want to leave Creator obligations behind). Downgrade takes effect at next billing cycle.
Do I need a business / LLC to join?
No. Individuals are welcome. We file 1099s in the US and equivalent reports in other jurisdictions. If you do have a business entity, you can register the program under it instead.
