Is my data used to train AI models?
No, never. We carry a contractual no-train provision with every provider in our routing matrix. If a provider quietly updates its terms, we drop them. Your vows, scripts, gift conversations, listings — none of it becomes training data. Period.
Which AI model do you use?
We're model-agnostic by design. Each request is routed at the time of the call to the best-fit provider — by cost, latency, quality, and provider health. You'll never see a provider name in the product, and we'll never write "powered by" any of them. The surfaces are what we own; the underlying weights are interchangeable.
What does AI cost me?
Five surfaces are free for everyone (Translation, Cultural-aware Gifts, Vibe Matcher, Gift Concierge for Guests, plus a Free-tier cap on Polish and Gift Advisor). Three are included in Plus / Pro (Gift Advisor unlimited, Website Generator, Polish unlimited). Vow Writer and Ceremony Script Builder are $5 one-time on the Free tier, or unlimited on Plus / Pro.
Can I delete my AI drafts?
Anytime. One-click purge from settings. Default retention on AI drafts is 30 days; you can shorten or extend it. Deletion cascades to provider-side logs within the provider's deletion SLA (typically 30 days). Final exports follow your Occasion-level retention setting.
Will the AI write my whole wedding for me?
No, and that's the point. Every Gish AI surface is positioned as AI-assisted drafting with you in the loop. Vow Writer drafts a starting point; you edit side-by-side. Ceremony Builder writes the connective prose; you tune every paragraph. AI is a collaborator, not an author. You stay in charge.
What about Vision Pro / visionOS AI surfaces?
Coming soon. Spatial Vow Writer rehearsal, spatial Ceremony Script preview, and Vision Pro anniversary-memory surfaces are on the roadmap but not live in Year 1. We're shipping the nine 2D surfaces first; visionOS follows once the platform is more broadly adopted.
Every AI-generated artifact on Gish carries an "AI-assisted" label per EU AI Act transparency obligations and US state AI disclosure laws (California AB 2013, Texas equivalents, and the expanding state-by-state stack). Affiliate routing on the marketplace and gift surfaces is disclosed per FTC Endorsement Guides in a dedicated band on every surface where it applies. Pricing is the same whether you go through Gish or direct.
